However to start accepting inmates the prison has to employ some 600 people, and there has been no advertising of any jobs as yet. At Málaga’s prison in Alhaurín de la Torre which was designed for some 1,000 prisoners, it is now holding 1,400, and has held as many as 1,900 inmates at times in the past.
